Does DoorDash pay you if you get no orders?
No, DoorDash does not guarantee any pay.
However, when you receive orders, DoorDash does guarantee that you will make a minimum of $5 per order you receive.
Again, if you receive zero orders, you will remain unpaid.
Note: GrubHub on the other hand guarantees $10/hour minimum whether you receive orders or not..
What happens if you don’t tip DoorDash?
If you don’t tip on DoorDash, your order will make the rounds to various Dashers until someone accepts. In my market, the base pay is $4. So if you don’t tip, the Dasher offer screen will be $4. The tip percentage goes down when the order total gets bigger.
